What Rejected Crayon Are You?
Well I thought I would try this and I get this color just because my underwear happens to be white today?

Another trip to Minot!
Well Alicia's vacation is over. I drove her back today. We went to see the allergy specialist.
They were going to do a patch test. He brought the test kit in and showed it to us. It was only a small package about 3 x 6 inches. But it had small patches to test for at least 12 or more
different types of allergens. Then he proceeded to tell her that all the patches that have something that she has an allergy to will get bright red and be extremely itchy and it will stay that way for several months and later turn brown and yeah it sounded like he was trying to talk her out of doing it, and guess what it worked! He also said that instead of that we could eliminate the allergen that we are sure of and that is medal. He explained that we should take all of her jeans and any other pants that have metal buttons or snaps or any thing metal and take them to some one that will change the metal to plastic! I didn't even know that that could be done. So tomorrow I'm going to be on the phone trying to find some one that can do that. I talked to some sales people at a fabric store and they suggested we try dry cleaners that do alterations. Well I did a yellow page search and found two that are within walking distance from JC and I'm hoping one of them will do it. They are both only .8 miles away and would only take 2 minutes to drive there. He put her on a strong antibiotic again and one ointment and one moisturizer. With other instructions to the types of laundry soap if possible two rinse cycles and absolutely no drier sheets after the appointment she went down to the lab for blood work and UA. We headed back to JC after looking for some place (with out success) to fix her pants. Well she was just getting done putting away her stuff and she got a call. It was the Drs. Office Some of the lab work was finished and guess what.... No really you will never guess! It turns out that she has Mono!! What??? No way she said she doesn't even feel tired. Well I don't know if they can tell if she has had it for awhile or if she is just getting over it? But she insisted that she stay at JC, but we are not sure what will happen if the nurses find out. I thought that she seemed a little tired when she first got home but by the end of her vacation today she seemed fine. So maybe she is on the mend. They also want her to go back tomorrow to take an X-ray of her sinuses. So I will be also trying to get that set up tomorrow. The 400 mile drive really wore me out so enough for now. Good night

Looking a little devilish here Kevin.
Hey I just read where you can upload pictures from your files and I found this one. Yeah Kevin looks like he wants to jump the boat on a wave or something like that, what do you think April? I'm sure you must have posted this picture. But I never noticed the look before.
Well it's been a long time since I blogged I have no good excuse. Just being lazy I guess, cuz I have a lot going on and just haven't felt like typing. Alicia came home for a 2 week vacation from Job Corp. It's been good to have her home. The first couple of days she just stayed in bed most of the day. She said it just felt good to be able to do it. We spent the weekend of the 4th at the lake cabin. It was overcast and cold Friday and Saturday so we went home on the 3rd to watch the fireworks display city put on and I thought it was a great show. Then we went back out to the lake and the 4th was cool at first but by the
evening the wind had gone down and the sun came out and it actually started to be nice out. We got to see a second fireworks show at the lake and we had a hard time deciding which direction to watch, both sides of the lake had things going off. Kevin came out with two of their friends and April showed up after work around 11:30 and Alicia came back with Ryan about the same time. Kevin and his friend Jason shot off theirs. There was a big party going on near the public beach and some guy was singing (or should I say trying to sing). It sounded awful! He must have been drinking a lot. It was late when we got home, around 2:00, which was fine for me but Dwight had to work the next day and he was really dragging by the time he got home from work that day. I felt sorry for him.
We ordered a new fridge and Dwight let me get a black one. I thought at the time it would be nice because the oven that we have is gold ( yeah you hear right) with black doors and I thought it would look good. Then on Tuesday he was looking at the old one and said I just can't imagine a black fridge in here. Well I looked around and thought oh my god! He's right, the rest of the kitchen is white (kind of yellowed due to age) and the wall paper is off white with pink, blue and yellow flowers, and also yellowed from age The floor and other parts are beige and tan. So I'm looking around thinking... What the hell was I thinking when we order a black one. Then I got this brainstorm! I know I will paint the walls and cupboards. Well that's a start. Then I thought well maybe we could change the floor since it's not that big of a room and it shouldn't take that much. It's been there 18 years and it's time for a change anyway. So that day I started taking down the wall paper and it was coming down fairly easily. The next day I was looking for flooring and brought home some samples. So that's what I have been doing. Today I took down some of the stuff from the open shelves that we have and I'm getting all these good ideas and driving Dwight crazy. So that's why I haven't blogged for awhile.
Oh... I heard on the news that that freak that killed a family in Idaho and kidnapped two kids and sexually abused them and killed the little boy before they caught up to him with the little girl in a Denny's. Yeah I heard that he wrote about some of it on his blog!! Sorry don't know what his blog's name is, and don't care to know. Just thought it was interesting and would pass that little tidbit along.
Well I'm getting tired I think it's time to quite.
By the way... why is it that when I do a spell check it always pops up that it doesn't know how to spell Blog or blogged or blogger etc.???? Does anyone know why that is?? Good night
