We have had Aiden since last Friday!

Wow it's almost a week that we have had Aiden at our house. It's be so much fun. He is such a smart little guy. April always says I'm just byious because he his my grandson... Not!! He is just smart, he knows sign language and not just when prompted. On Sunday Dwight, Aiden and I went to go see his Great Grandma and Grandpa Hammond. He was soo cute. He was throwing the ball at any one that would put up their hands to catch it. Then he ran into the kitchen and came out again and signed more. Then he did it again. I asked him what do you want? He signed eat and ran into the kitchen again. So he not only told me what he wanted but he told me he knew where he could get some thing to eat. Grandma and Grandpa were just as surprised as Nana and Papa were. I had packed something to feed him because I knew he was going to get hungry while we were there, so I fed him.

Then there was a time that I had him take his diaper to Papa to throw away because Papa was in the kitchen and he ran to the garbage can in the kitchen and Papa helped him open it and Aiden threw his diaper away. Papa said, thank you and Aiden, who has been trying to say thank you many times says it as clear as a bell. Thank you, to Papa, I heard it too and Dwight and I looked at each other. You should have seen the look on Papa's face it was precious and we just smiled at each other and shook our heads, it was so cute. I swear I have heard him say other things before we thought was baby gibberish but the words are starting to make sense now, April I kid you not!!! He says NANA now and not when he wants a banana it's when he wants me. He has a word for Alicia now too some times it doesn't sound that way but other times it does.

He has been going outside everyday. He loves going BYE BYE. We have taken him for stroller rides and walks. On Sunday Alicia and I took him walking and we went around our block which happens to actually is two city blocks long, and he walked from our house all the way around until we got by that orange house on the corner, over on 6th. street. He also slept very well that afternoon. Today as soon as he finished eating and I let him out of his booster set he ran to the front door and went uh uh. So we are working on saying outside. I did teach him to sign again.
So like we are reading a book and we finish it, I ask him do you want to read again and I sign it.
At first I didn't think I was getting through to him and then after saying it to him and signing it to him he says yo say it and sign it, He is so cute, because then he will look up at you and give you this cheesy smile like he knows he did something right, More later gotta go.
